Honister House Keswick is one of Keswick's oldest and most distinctive properties dating back to the 18th Century and containing a wealth of interesting features. Honister House Guest House has three en-suite rooms (two double and one twin/double), each furnished to a high standard, individually decorated, and displaying works by various local artists. We have an extensive breakfast menu and aim to cater for all dietary requirements. We are also Vegetarian Society approved. Our hospitality trays include filter coffee, a range of teas and home made biscuits, and filtered water. Our facilities extend to WiFi connection (laptops not supplied) and secure cycle storage. Being centrally located, many of Keswick's huge range of attractions, restaurants and pubs, are close by and we are only 5 minutes walk from the Lake, Derwentwater, and its famous 'Theatre by The Lake'. In addition, Keswick's charming Alhambra Cinema is only a few steps away at the top of Derwent Street. Keswick's ideal location provides a superb base to explore the delights of Borrowdale and the Lake District. Keswick is a stop over point on the C2C cycling and Lakeland walks. Many of Lakeland's best walks can be undertaken straight from Honister House. Our unique property and prime position, coupled with our extensive modern facilities, will ensure a relaxing and memorable break in an old world setting.
