By Car to Central Car Park:
Satnav: Heads Road, Keswick, CA12 5DF
Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 40 and head west along the A66. Take the second exit signed Keswick, onto the A5271 and follow the road to the end. Turn left at the T-junction and after one third of a mile you will come to a mini-roundabout. Take the second exit, called Heads Road, and you will soon see a large car park on the left. If you call us (017687 73181) from the car park we will come down to meet you with the car park permit.
If you don’t have a mobile phone, or if you don’t have a signal, you can walk to Honister House in about 90 seconds from the entrance to the car park. Look for the Fiat garage and walk between the garage and Café Bar 26 and as you emerge onto Lake Road you will see the George Fisher store. Walk past the front door of Fishers and you will see Honister House across the road.

Satnav: The intersection of Borrowdale Road & Derwent Street, Keswick

Leave the M6 motorway at Junction 40 and head west along the A66. Take the exit for Keswick/A591 (Penrith Road) and follow Penrith Road until you reach Keswick town centre. Turn left onto Station Street. Take the 2nd left onto St. John's Street. Take the 1st right onto Derwent Street and then turn left onto Borrowdale Road. Honister House is situated on the corner of Derwent Street and Borrowdale Road.
Please note there is no on-street parking available outside Honister House. (However, it may be possible to pull up on the other side of the road to drop off your luggage.)

The nearest train station is 17 miles away in Penrith. It's a main line station and is serviced by direct trains from London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and many other UK towns and cities.

The bus journey takes about 40 minutes and then it's less than 10 minutes' walk from Keswick Bus Station to Honister House. Below is a little map to show you how to get from the station (the red rectangle) to Honister House (the green star). The easiest route is via Main Street, past the Moot Hall and bear right onto Lake Road.
